How to use your Chipped nails?
Step 1: Apply the nails
Prep your natural nails by cleaning
and filing them, then apply a small dot of glue or adhesive tabs. Press the
nails down for 10-15 seconds, and voilà—gorgeous nails in under 10
minutes, ready to slay! 💅🏻
Step 2: Connect to the app
To use the nail, simply download
the Chipped Social app and set up your profile. On the app, you can add your
bio and all the links to your social pages: website, email, Instagram, twitter,
… you name it! Now everyone will know who you are ✨
To connect your nail, simply go into the settings and add a
device — Voilà!
Step 3: Scan to share your socials
Time to swap contacts with someone
you met and want to stay in touch with? Just tap your nail to their phone!
Your profile will appear on their phone: they will have access to your social
links
If they are on the chipped app, even better! They will be
able to connect with you on the app and you can add a note on how you met to

Every set comes with 20 press-on nails (2 NFC chipped thumbs, 18 standard press-ons), a tube of glue, sticky tabs,a nail file, an alcohol wipe, and a removal stick.

How to measure you nail size?
Method 1: Using paper & a ruler
Step 1: Cut a small strip of paper.
Step 2: Place the paper strip over your thumb nail bed.
Step 3: Use a pen or pencil to mark where the sides of your nail hit the skin on both sides.
Step 4: Measure the distance between the two marks using a ruler (or an online real-size ruler). Record the result in millimeters (mm).
Method 2: Using a tape measure
Step 1: Grab a flexible tape measure
Step 2: Place the tape measure across your thumb nail bed, measuring from one side to the other where the nail meets the skin.

How long does a set of nails last? Are they reusable?
You can reuse the nails as much as you want (as long as you don’t break them).
The sticky tabs last up to 5 days, while the glue lasts up to 2 weeks. Ideally you should remove your nails every 2 weeks to reapply the glue or swap your style.
Where does the link go?
The nail goes your Chipped app social profile. There you can add links to wherever you want, babe—your socials, your portfolio, your contact card, or any random website.
You can always change your links super easily in your account.
How do I put my nails on?
Have you ever used press-on nails before? Great—it’s pretty much the same deal.
Each set of nails comes with a tube of liquid glue and nail patches that lasts for about 2 weeks before needing application. Here’s the step-by-step:
- Thoroughly clean your nails with the provided alcohol wipe. Use the file to lightly file the surface of your nail to remove the natural shine—this will help it stick better.
- Push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick.
- File your nails to shape them (if desired).
- Apply your glue/your sticky tabs and gently press on your nails one by one, pressing each for 15-30 seconds to make sure they hold in place. File as needed.
- You’re done, and looking so fine. Just avoid water for the next hour or so.
How to Apply Nail Glue
- Apply a drop of the nail glue to your natural nail.
- Press the Chipped nail onto your nail and hold for 15 seconds.
- File the nail to your desired length.
- The glue will hold up to two weeks.
How to Apply Sticky Tabs
- Choose a sticky tab that fits your nail size.
- Apply the sticky tab without touching the adhesive sides.
- Press the Chipped nail onto your nail and file to your desired length.
- The tabs will hold up to 5 days.
