Have you ever used press-on nails before? Great—it’s pretty much the same deal. Each set of nails comes with a tube of liquid glue that lasts for about 2 weeks before needing application.

Here’s the step-by-step:  

1. Thoroughly clean your nails with the provided alcohol wipe. Use the file to lightly file the surface of your nail to remove the natural shine—this will help it stick better. 

2. Push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick.

3. File your nails to shape them (if desired). 

4. Apply your glue and gently press on your nails one by one, pressing each for 15-30 seconds to make sure they hold in place. File as needed.  

5. You’re done, and looking so fine. Just avoid water for the next hour or so.       

How to Apply Nail Glue

· Apply a drop of the nail glue to your natural nail.

· Press the Chipped nail onto your nail and hold for 15 seconds. 

· File the nail to your desired length. 

The glue will hold up to two weeks!

Nail tabs are the best for temporary glam! Each set of nails comes with nail patches that lasts for about 5 days. If you're looking to change your nails often, here’s the step-by-step:  

1. Thoroughly clean your nails with the provided alcohol wipe. Use the file to lightly file the surface of your nail to remove the natural shine—this will help it stick better. 

2. Push back your cuticles with the cuticle stick.

3. File your nails to shape them (if desired). 

4. Apply your glue/your sticky tabs and gently press on your nails one by one, pressing each for 15-30 seconds to make sure they hold in place. File as needed.  

5. You’re done, and looking so fine. Just avoid water for the next hour or so.       

How to Apply Sticky Tabs 

· Choose a sticky tab that fits your nail size.

· Apply the sticky tab without touching the adhesive sides.

· Press the Chipped nail onto your nail and file to your desired length.

The tabs will hold up to 5 days.

To take your nails off, just soak them in a bath of warm soapy water and oil for 10-15 minutes. Then, simply pop them off with the included cuticle stick. (If the nail is not coming off easily, don’t force it. Simply soak it for a little longer and try again.)

If you used nails glue, file the remainder off. If you used nail tabs, simply pull off the residue.

The nails are fully reusable, as long as you don’t use acetone on them. You can reapply the glue and pop them back on immediately, or wipe them with alcohol and stash them in the box for future use.

You can reuse the nails as much as you want (as long as you don’t break them). Just don't put acetone on them.

The sticky tabs last up to 5 days, while the glue lasts up to 2 weeks. Ideally you should remove your nails every 2 weeks to let your nails breathe, reapply the glue or swap your style.

The best way to get your size is to measure the width of the widest part of your thumb in millimeters and consult our size chart on each product page.

If you’re between sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size and filing it down to fit just right.

To set up your nail, you first need to download the app and set up your profile.

Once that's done, just check which one of the thumb has the embed chip by looking underneath them.

To connect a new nail, it's easy — simply press the middle button (phone) and hover your chipped thumb on the NFC reader of your phone for 2-3 seconds.

Et voilà! Your nail is now linked to your profile, and the link to your profile will pop up whenever you tap your nail on someone's phone!

The Chipped app is your digital business card. Once you set it up, it allows you to add your information and add social media links so that whoever taps your nail will have access to your profile!

You will need the app to pair your microchipped nail to your profile, as well as connect to new people.

Super easy, you can either:

1) go in the right tab of the app (+) and let them scan their nail,

2) tap their nail so show their profile and press the "add connection" button!

The NFC reader can be found in different locations on different smartphones.

Generally:

For iPhones: the reader is located at the top of the phone, near the camera and flash. 

For Androids: the reader is usually around the middle of the phone. It’s easy to look up online if you know the model of your phone

Make sure you hover your nails for at least 2-3 seconds on the scanner to trigger the NFC reading (like you would do when you're paying at a store).

So sorry you’re having issues! Here are a few of the reasons your chip might not be working:

· The phone you’re tapping needs to be unlocked

· The phone’s Bluetooth needs to be on 

· The phone’s case is too thick to allow the chip to connect  

· Your NFC chip isn’t enabled yet (head over to our app to set yours up) 

· You’re moving your finger around too much—try keeping it fairly still

· You’re not tapping the correct part of the phone (where the NFC reader is) 

iPhones: it’s located at the top of the phone, near the camera and flash. 

Androids: it depends, but it is usually around the middle of the phone. It’s easy to look up online. 

All of our sets are quality-tested before they are sent out. If your chip doesn’t work, let us know and we are happy to get a replacement set out to you, or refund your purchase.

1. Non-Returnable Items:

• Opened Products: For hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns of any press-on nails that have been opened or used.

2. Returnable Items:

• Unopened and Unused Products: If you wish to return an unopened and unused product, you may do so at your own expense within 14 days of receiving the item. Simply reach out to hi@chippedsocial.com to start your return process.

3. Defective Products:

• If you receive a defective product, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us at hi@chippedsocial.com for further instructions. We will either refund your purchase or send a replacement product, depending on your preference and product availability.

4. Return Process:

• To return an unopened and unused item, please ensure that it is securely packaged to prevent damage during shipping.
• Include your order number and reason for return in the package.
• We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

5. Refunds:

• Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item.
• If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.

6. Exchanges:
