Change up your manicure : Removing Your Press-On Nails (Sticky Tabs)
It's happened to all of us—you're rocking your fabulous press-on nails, feeling like a total boss, and then... you change your fit and your nails don't match! Fear not, my friends, because I'm here to share my secrets for removing your press-ons without a hitch so you can swap them around in 20 minutes tops!
Once you've got the edge lifted, try soaking your nails in warm, soapy water for a few minutes. This will help soften the adhesive and make the removal process a little easier. If that doesn't do the trick, you can try using a small amount of oil as well.
Then, gently lifting the edge of the nail with a pair of tweezers or a cuticle pusher. Go slowly and avoid pulling too hard, or you might end up with a painful rip.
Once your fake nails are off, remove the rest of the sticky tabs from your fingers and the press-ons. Wipe them clean with an alcohol wipe, and they'll be ready to be reused whenever you need them!
Now that your old manicure is out of the way, simply apply a fresh set to match your fit!
If you want to let your natural nails breathe, don't forget to apply a nourishing cuticle oil or hand cream to keep them healthy and happy.
